Seven Dolors Chaplet

Devotion to the Sorrowful Mother began on Calvary, when our dying Lord gave us His Mother by saying to St. John, “Behold They Mother” In the thirteenth century, seven nobleman in Italy founded the Order of the Servants of Mary. Appearing to them in a vision on Good Friday, 1240, she requested that the work of this Order, called the Servites, be to promote the memory of her Dolors and the Passion of Jesus. This chaplet is the Servite rosary and has become dear to the general Catholic Faithful.

This highly indulgenced chaplet in honor of Our Lady’s Sorrows has beautifully illustrated engraved medals depicting each of these sorrows. An information leaflet (including instructions) and velvety drawstring pouch are included.
