In Paradisum

An inspiring collection of masterpieces of Gregorian chant and polyphony, sacred music all sung a cappella, offering a unique spiritual and religious listening experience. This is the next generation of chant CD. Not only does it feature Catholic priests singing that wonderfully peaceful Gregorian chant, but it will also introduce you to the hauntingly beautiful sounds of nuns singing the Gregorian chant. The chant is interspersed among pieces of polyphony. With polyphonic choir music, there is not only a melody and harmony, as with most choral music, but each vocal part is its own melody which intertwines with the others to form the most beautiful vocal music ever heard.

“Thank you for music from Carmelite hearts and voices raised in praise of Our Lord. I gave a copy of “In Paradisium” to a friend who is ill. It helps her to find peace, to find Our Lord in the midst of her suffering. When I listen to the music, my heart reaches heavenward and longs that much more for Christ.” – Lynn, Ontario, Canada

“This CD is absolutely beautiful. The singing itself and the music selections are truly a testament to God’s blessings upon the Catholic Church. “O Jesu Christe” and “Non Nobis Domine” are especially powerful. The recording and musical fidelity are first rate. Even the cover art of the vestment is incredible.” – Joe, Georgia, USA
